🧠 AI Helps Stroke Survivor Uses Brain Signals to Communicate
Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley have developed an experimental technology that translates brain signals into audible words, allowing stroke survivors to communicate through digital avatars.
The technology uses an implant with 253 electrodes placed on the surface of the brain to intercept signals and artificial intelligence algorithms to translate them into sentences spoken by a digitally animated figure.
The system has a relatively high accuracy and speed, enabling users to communicate using a wide vocabulary.
This is unbelievable 😱
