Microsoft reported a 13% increase in revenue for the September quarter, boosted by a 29% growth in its cloud business, which includes Azure.
CEO Satya Nadella credited the company's new artificial intelligence products, including AI models on Azure, for the growth.
The business unit that includes Office 365 also saw a 13% increase in revenue.

🌐 Midjourney Unveils New Website and Exciting Updates
Midjourney has launched a revamped website that prioritizes enhanced image and prompt search capabilities for user-generated and community-generated images, along with improved image viewing options.
The major highlight is the upcoming browser-based image generation feature, although the release date is yet to be announced.
With these updates, Midjourney aims to offer a more accessible and user-friendly experience, expanding its reach beyond the Discord platform.
The new Midjourney website is REALLY fast.
Everything is shown as an upscaled image.
The browsing experience is a million times better.

🔍 Google Introduces PaLI-3: Powerful Vision-Language Model
Google Research and Google DeepMind have released PaLI-3, a vision-language model with 5 billion parameters that outperforms larger models in various multimodal benchmarks.
This environmentally friendly VLM excels in tasks like answering questions about images/videos, recognizing objects, and reading text in images, showcasing the potential of the SigLIP training method.
Despite its size, PaLI-3 performs on par with larger VLMs in multiple image-to-speech benchmarks.
